Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Félix Dubon kicked off to start the match. Félix Dubon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Jhonnatan Batres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Félix Dubon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ulises Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Edwin Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yate City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Castillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagoberto Cerna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ulises Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Misael Cruz's late challenge caught a Chorley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Misael Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chorley City booed when Yate City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misael Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misael Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Yate City's Misael Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Félix Dubon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Dubon in the 40th minute of play forced Yate City's goalkeeper Ulises Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yate City's zone, Dagoberto Cerna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Aguilar came out of the goal and Dagoberto Cerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Cerna got free with Ulises Aguilar in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dagoberto Cerna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Cerna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Chorley City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yate City were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Edwin Castillo made the kick off in the second half. Félix Dubon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ulises Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Aguilar came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorley City's Dagoberto Cerna. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Cerna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yate City's zone, Dagoberto Cerna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Aguilar came out of the goal and Dagoberto Cerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Félix Dubon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Aguilar having to interfere. Ulises Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Castillo in the 73rd minute of play. Alberto Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Misael Cruz got free with Ulises Gutierrez in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dagoberto Cerna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Cerna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Chorley City manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Yate City to win.
