The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paolo Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Posadas in the 9th minute. If Emerson Posadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Campos struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Primitivo Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bollington. After 18 minutes, Shawn Prado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bollington and the Clitheroe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shawn Prado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Paolo Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Posadas in the 24th minute. When Arnoldo Collado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Clitheroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Collado couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bollington getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Shawn Prado hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Salvador Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Campos in the 35th minute of play. Primitivo Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Campos went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Posadas got free with Paolo Ribeiro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes of play Bollington's Shawn Prado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Emerson Posadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Ribeiro having to interfere. The Clitheroe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bollington were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Collado made a kick off. Raúl Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Guerrero having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clitheroe's Emerson Posadas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Raúl Cortezs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Primitivo Guerrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Posadas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes Bollington got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Erazo. Arnoldo Collado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clitheroe's Emerson Posadas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Lima during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bollington's Diego Lima got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Raúl Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raúl Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Leiva's late challenge caught a Clitheroe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Leiva helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Clitheroe's Primitivo Guerrero got control of the ball when Raúl Cortez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Ulloa during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Ulloa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Diego Lima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bollington had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
