Alfredo Baptista hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The Bacup FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Bacup FC's Rudy Valenzuela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Rudy Valenzuela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giovani Escalante. The goal made the score 4-0. 43 minutes into the match, Golcar's Ladislao Mendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pablo Mondragon made the kick off in the second half. Golcar's Giovani Escalante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Valenzuela in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ladislao Mendez sped through Bacup FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Omar Duarte. Pablo Mondragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Rudy Valenzuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Valenzuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Rudy Valenzuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacup FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 98 minutes into the match, Bacup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Bautista came free, but Omar Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacup FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golcar for a fine match.
