Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Rivero started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Cabrera in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Santamaria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Mayen in the 8th minute of play forced Annscroft's goalkeeper Saul Santamaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ingatestone's Hector Cabrera in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Annscroft's goalie prevented a goal. Saul Santamaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Mayen, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ingatestone's Nicolás Mayen suffered a concussion after 19 minutes and had to leave the field. Ingatestone's Carmelo Hernández was substituted for Nicolás Mayen. A collision led to Annscroft getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leopoldo Pineda hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Hector Cabrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingatestone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alberto Ochoa struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Saul Santamaria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingatestone. Carmelo Hernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Saul Santamaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santamaria having to interfere. Jonathan Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Cabrera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Carmelo Hernández got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Hector Cabrera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Saul Santamaria was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Hector Cabrera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Cabrera really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. If Carmelo Hernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Santamaria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Hernández in the 82nd minute. After 91 played minutes Ingatestone got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Ochoa. Ingatestone's Ramon Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Saul Santamaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingatestone played a much better game than Annscroft and deserved their victory. The Annscroft players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
