The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Del Carmen was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Padilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Salguero having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF's Alfredo Guerra made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Salguero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amilcar Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eraldo Salguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Salguero was a little too slow when Alfredo Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. Leopoldo Del Carmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eraldo Salguero having to make a save. If Leopoldo Del Carmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Mayen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. After having played for 92 minutes, Antonio Padilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
