Hector Parada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Jhonnatan Carranza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Parada, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Mendoza in the 21st minute of play forced Ainsdale's goalkeeper Hector Parada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Parada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Sandoval in the 23rd minute of play. Hector Parada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jhonnatan Carranza in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Victorino Victorino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Milton Padilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Mendoza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hector Parada made a huge save. Ainsdale's Hector Parada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ainsdale from getting a goal against them. With 46 minutes on the clock, Juan Pedrozo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 47 played minutes Ainsdale got a freekick which was hit by Juan Pedrozo. Cóban Imperial's Sarbelio Cerritos got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shawn Velis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Augusto Mendoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Parada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jhonnatan Carranza's late challenge caught a Ainsdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jhonnatan Carranza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Cóban Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhonnatan Carranza to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Sandoval hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cóban Imperial's Milton Padilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Cóban Imperial from getting a goal against them. Hector Parada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ainsdale booed when Cóban Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Rudy Bonilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Hector Parada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ainsdale players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cóban Imperial.
