The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Posadas's late challenge caught a Freshwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Posadas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Freshwater booed when Felixstowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Posadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efren Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Navas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes of play, Freshwater's Cesar Jimenez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efren Garay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ladislao Ulloa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Prado in the 12th minute of play. Cesar Jimenez scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efren Garay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Cesar Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Felixstowe's Edgardo Muñoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Ulloa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cesar Jimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Felixstowe's Efren Garay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Felixstowe's Edgardo Muñoz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Efren Garay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Januario Murgas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Felixstowe's zone, Alexis Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efren Garay came out of the goal and Alexis Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cesar Jimenez sped through Felixstowe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efren Garay. Cesar Jimenez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efren Garay having to make a save. The Freshwater fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Freshwater's Cesar Jimenez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Jimenez to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesar Jimenez had several of the Felixstowe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Efren Garay as he didn't even see the shot coming. 55 minutes into the match, Felixstowe's goalkeeper Efren Garay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Januario Murgas. In the 63rd minute, Freshwater's Cesar Jimenez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efren Garay. Efren Garay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 70th minute, Cesar Jimenez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Efren Garay. The goal made the score 0-9. Ernesto Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Garay having to interfere. Ernesto Barrera succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesar Jimenez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Efren Garay. That made the score 0-11 in the 80 minute of play. David Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ladislao Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Jimenez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Efren Garay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Efren Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januario Murgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudy Bustamante hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Cesar Jimenez put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Efren Garay. When the final whistle sounded Freshwater left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Felixstowe.
