Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelo Zaldaña kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Southwold's Miguel Escalante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efren Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 played minutes Southwold got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Barrera. In the 19th minute, Marcelo Zaldaña made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Gallegos. Southwold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ovidio Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Pinho having to interfere. Efren Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Henry Leiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efren Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Southwold booed when Holloway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Verdugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ovidio Barrera came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Southwold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Barrera couldn't finish the play. Efren Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Escalante in the 37th minute of the match. Efren Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joselito Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Southwold's Joselito Díaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efren Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joselito Díaz made a kick off. When Miguel Escalante fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southwold's protests and gave Miguel Escalante a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Southwold getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Miguel Escalante hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Holloway's Luis Díaz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Marcelo Zaldaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Gallegos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Zaldaña ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Southwold getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joselito Díaz hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes, Holloway's Shawn Orozco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dagoberto Gallegos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holloway reached it. Ovidio Barrera kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mauro Villalobos charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Villalobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Mauro Villalobos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Southwold's Jonathan Olmedo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Efren Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joselito Díaz in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Henry Leiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southwold's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Leiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Zaldaña took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagoberto Gallegos. Dagoberto Gallegos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marcelo Zaldaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avilio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. During the 95th minute of the match Miguel Escalante completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Escalante a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 96 played minutes Southwold got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Escalante. Holloway's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
