An unexpectedly hard shot by Joselito Díaz in the 2nd minute of play forced Felixstowe's goalkeeper Efren Garay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ovidio Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southwold's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Barrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Garay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dagoberto Gallegos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jhalmar Figueroa in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Felixstowe's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Díaz came free, but Efren Garay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Felixstowe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edgardo Muñoz hit a great ball. Efren Garay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joselito Díaz's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Joselito Díaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Efren Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efren Garay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Barrera in the 14th minute of play. If Jhalmar Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jhalmar Figueroa struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dagoberto Gallegos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felixstowe. In the 30th minute of the match Rony Gamero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Gallegos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Southwold's goalkeeper Dagoberto Gallegos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jhalmar Figueroa. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jhalmar Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felixstowe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jhalmar Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Southwold booed when Felixstowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joselito Díaz to make the kick off. Efren Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joselito Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Southwold's zone, Jhalmar Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Gallegos came out of the goal and Jhalmar Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Barrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Efren Garay made a huge save. Dagoberto Gallegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Prado in the 62nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Southwold's goal looked a bit too open when David Prado came free, but Dagoberto Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Moreira struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Efren Garay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southwold. Ladislao Bautista hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Felixstowe's Efren Garay got control of the ball when Ovidio Barrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efren Garay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ovidio Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joselito Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
