Hector Parada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Corpeño in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ivan Talia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Parada. Ainsdale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Talia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Galeas during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abraham Galeas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ainsdale's Juan Valenzuela got a free kick in the 13th minute. Enrique Aguirrez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Camilo Cerritos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ainsdale. After a rather tough play, Ilford's Abraham Galeas got a free kick in the 25th minute. Juan Valenzuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Cerritos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Ainsdale's Juan Pedrozo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Cerritos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ilford's zone, Libardo Alfaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Cerritos came out of the goal and Libardo Alfaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ainsdale were furious when Juan Valenzuela was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasir Del Carmen in the 45th minute of play forced Ainsdale's goalkeeper Hector Parada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Parada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Talia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Oporto to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Talia got free with Hector Parada in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilford's Camilo Cerritos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Velis in the 54th minute of play. Ainsdale's Hector Parada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ainsdale from getting a goal against them. Hector Parada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Corpeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Ilford's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Ayala came free, but Camilo Cerritos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Parada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Corpeño in the 77th minute of play. Arturo Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Camilo Cerritos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match, Armando Corpeño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hector Parada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Ilford getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Abraham Galeas hit a great ball. Shawn Velis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Camilo Cerritos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilford's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
