Spectators: 10897 (Terracing: 8174, Seating: 2506, VIP seats: 217) Juan Iigo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Elias Leiva came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Zico Zellier. But to his dismay, Zico Zellier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zico Zellier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zico Zellier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Leiva having to make a save. Elias Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Guatitlan defense, Zico Zellier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Leiva. The Guatitlan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Leiva should have stopped the shot. Zico Zellier scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Leiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Rafael Batres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Leiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Zellier's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Liviu Mitroi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatitlan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GuateFortín the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guatitlan's Liviu Mitroi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Máximo Perrone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Máximo Perrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guatitlan's Elias Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Perrone in the 42nd minute of play. Elias Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Perrone in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Angel Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Máximo Perrone was the one to do the kick off. When GuateFortín's Zico Zellier in the 50th minute got a chance for a shot 50th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guatitlan's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guatitlan's zone, Zico Zellier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Leiva came out of the goal and Zico Zellier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Guatitlan's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Perrone came free, but Elias Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Leiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Perrone in the 60th minute of the match. GuateFortín's Heriberto Correa was substituted for Angel Alvarenga. GuateFortín made a substitution. Stanyo Búnkov replaced Rudy Sigaran. Elias Leiva made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Zico Zellier sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Guatitlan getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Richard Machado hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Guatitlan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Cerritos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Claudio Cerritos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guatitlan's Elias Leiva did a great save. 74 minutes into the match, Guatitlan's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Perrone came free, but Elias Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Leiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Máximo Perrone in the 76th minute. Liviu Mitroi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Elias Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Perrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Máximo Perrone made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Guatitlan's Elias Leiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guatitlan's Carlitos Bianchi was substituted for Juan Iigo. Guatitlan made a substitution. Ricardo Gareca replaced Andre Fontoria. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Pinho in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Máximo Perrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Leiva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Claudio Cerritos. Elias Leiva was a little too slow when Sven-Edvin Jansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. Richard Machado got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ricardo Gareca. In the 95th minute, Máximo Perrone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Leiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.
