Spectators: 8100 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when William Posadas made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Puerto San José's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Jansson came free, but Mariano Umaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for GuateFortín. Angel Alvarenga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Umaña. 0-1. A hard shot by Franklin Lozano from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Nery Pumpido's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 12th minute, Zico Zellier made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Umaña. Puerto San José's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 15 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Umaña was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Umaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Umaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 23rd minute of play. Mariano Umaña came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Zico Zellier. But to his dismay, Zico Zellier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mariano Umaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Zico Zellier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 31 minutes into the game, Zico Zellier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Mariano Umaña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Puerto San José defense, Angel Alvarenga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Umaña. The Puerto San José fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Umaña should have stopped the shot. Mariano Umaña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Puerto San José's Mariano Umaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Perrone in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Puerto San José's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Perrone came free, but Mariano Umaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Perrone in the 46th minute of play forced Puerto San José's goalkeeper Mariano Umaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Puerto San José players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GuateFortín were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Máximo Perrone made a kick off. If Máximo Perrone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Máximo Perrone spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Puerto San José's goal. Puerto San José's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Zico Zellier scored to the left of an out of position Mariano Umaña, making the score, 0-9. GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Raúl Cabrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puerto San José and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Puerto San José was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Puerto San José's Mariano Umaña got control of the ball when Máximo Perrone tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Puerto San José's Andrés Peredes made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nery Pumpido was left in no man's land by his defense there! GuateFortín's Heriberto Correa was substituted for Angel Alvarenga. In the 68th match minute, Puerto San José was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Rivas to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Máximo Perrone notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Puerto San José's Mariano Umaña. Mariano Umaña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Máximo Perrone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Mariano Umaña skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Máximo Perrone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Umaña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Mariano Umaña came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone. But to his dismay, Máximo Perrone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-11. Mariano Umaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Perrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Puerto San José's Mariano Umaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Perrone in the 83rd minute of play. Máximo Perrone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Umaña having to make a save. Mariano Umaña was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Máximo Perrone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Máximo Perrone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-12. Mariano Umaña was a little too slow when Máximo Perrone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-13.
