Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baltazar Loria kicked off to start the match. Rio Cuarto FC's Baltazar Loria got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogelio Miranda hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Edgar Rohrmoser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Gamboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Leonel Blen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donald Salas in the 9th minute. Andrei Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Blen having to interfere. If Rogelio Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Puriscal's zone, Anselmo Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Rohrmoser came out of the goal and Anselmo Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Blen came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Puriscal's Andrei Matos. But to his dismay, Andrei Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Puriscal's goalkeeper Edgar Rohrmoser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puriscal's Edgar Rohrmoser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomon Obando in the 44th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Puriscal's Leonel Blen threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrei Matos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Matos made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beto Kamakiri during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Rio Cuarto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Kamakiri to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rio Cuarto FC booed when Puriscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leonel Blen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Anselmo Sancho made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Puriscal's Edgar Rohrmoser tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Rohrmoser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Puriscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Viquez to maneuver through the defense. Beto Kamakiri kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Andrei Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Salas in the 83rd minute of play forced Rio Cuarto FC's goalkeeper Leonel Blen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Puriscal's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Sancho came free, but Edgar Rohrmoser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puriscal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Baltazar Loria scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Rohrmoser, making the score, 1-3. Donald Salas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leonel Blen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Blen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Matos in the 95th minute of play. Rio Cuarto FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
