Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejandro Osorio started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Cobano AFC's Edwin Carvajal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edwin Carvajal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cobano AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edwin Carvajal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 12 minutes into the game, Alejandro Osorio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvin Lopez. Alejandro Osorio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alvin Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernardo Talamanca fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cobano AFC's protests and gave Bernardo Talamanca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Xtreme X X booed when Cobano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Talamanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Madriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Coto in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Adolfo Coto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Madriz. Xtreme X X's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Coto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Otto Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alvin Lopez made a huge save. Nacho Blen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Lopez having to interfere. If Keylor Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keylor Ayala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alvin Lopez made a huge save. Rigoberto Madriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Coto in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Adolfo Coto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Coto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Madriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Coto to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alejandro Osorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobano AFC's Alvin Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvin Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Osorio in the 54th minute of play. Alexis Castillo's late challenge caught a Xtreme X X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexis Castillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Cobano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tulio Navarro to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Osorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Lopez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Alejandro Osorio made a precise shot to the right of Alvin Lopez. Cobano AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alvin Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keylor Ayala in the 69th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Alejandro Osorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobano AFC's Alvin Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Xtreme X X booed when Cobano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Bolaños didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Coto took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Madriz. Rigoberto Madriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Adolfo Coto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Madriz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Adolfo Coto sent off a good shot on target. When Alejandro Osorio got free in front of the goal in the 87th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alvin Lopez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Keylor Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cobano AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Xtreme X X had controlled the match.
