Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrei Matos kicked off to start the match. When Donald Salas came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Puriscal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Salas couldn't finish the play. Edgar Rohrmoser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Salas in the 57th minute of play. If Josue Rohrmoser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Chamberlain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Salas in the 76th minute of play. Gilberto Porras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Edgar Rohrmoser made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Salas in the 86th minute of play forced Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Limon's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Salas came free, but Nicolas Chamberlain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Puriscal's zone, Josue Rohrmoser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Rohrmoser came out of the goal and Josue Rohrmoser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Donald Salas made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Chamberlain. Limon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Limon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
