Spectators: 9250 (Terracing: 6939, Seating: 2127, VIP seats: 184) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alejandro Osorio made the kick off which started today's match. Rigoberto Madriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Orlich in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Otilio Artavia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xtreme X X's Rigoberto Madriz did a great save. Rene Orlich received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Madriz came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Orlich slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute, Rene Orlich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Daniel Borbon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Otilio Artavia came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otilio Artavia couldn't finish the play. Ruben Fallas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Xtreme X X's Keylor Ayala in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diablos Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st minute, Alejandro Osorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rene Orlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Madriz having to interfere. Diablos Rojos's Tomás Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Osorio in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Mauricio Quiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Madriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Quiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rigoberto Madriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Williams got free with Rigoberto Madriz in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Fallas made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xtreme X X's goalkeeper Rigoberto Madriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Otto Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruben Fallas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Quiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Madriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otilio Artavia went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 67 played minutes Xtreme X X got a freekick which was hit by David Santamaria. Ruben Fallas scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Madriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asdrubal Alfaro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Rene Orlich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rigoberto Madriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Ruben Fallas notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Xtreme X X's Rigoberto Madriz. Rigoberto Madriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Fallas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Madriz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Fallas in the 96th minute of play forced Xtreme X X's goalkeeper Rigoberto Madriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Diablos Rojos had won after a very even match.
