An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Săvescu in the 13th minute of play forced Sport Herediano Frances's goalkeeper Antonio Merino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When PANTHER BLUE's Dan Săvescu, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for PANTHER BLUE. Dennis Mata took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Merino. Antonio Merino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to PANTHER BLUE getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dan Săvescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Herediano Frances's zone, Dan Săvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Merino came out of the goal and Dan Săvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When PANTHER BLUE's Dan Săvescu in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Herediano Frances's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Săvescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Merino having to interfere. In the 29th minute Dan Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Merino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Sport Herediano Frances's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Mata came free, but Antonio Merino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teobald Podwojski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Săvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 minutes of play, PANTHER BLUE's Dan Săvescu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Merino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

If Dan Săvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Dan Săvescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PANTHER BLUE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Săvescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PANTHER BLUE made a substitution. Alfonso Molina replaced Alexander Cubero. In the 62nd minute, Dan Săvescu made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Merino. Sport Herediano Frances's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a little luck, Sport Herediano Frances's Antonio Merino got control of the ball when Dennis Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Alfonso Molina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Merino. The goal made the score 0-6. PANTHER BLUE's Telo Cabada was substituted for Ion Gómez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Molina in the 74th minute of play forced Sport Herediano Frances's goalkeeper Antonio Merino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Merino came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by PANTHER BLUE's Alfonso Molina. But to his dismay, Alfonso Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 79 minutes into the game, Dennis Mata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Antonio Merino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Garita in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Merino saved Sport Herediano Frances from getting behind. Antonio Merino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Molina in the 88th minute of the match. Gonzalo Garita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Merino having to make a save. Dennis Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Merino having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Sport Herediano Frances's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Garita came free, but Antonio Merino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded PANTHER BLUE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sport Herediano Frances.
