Spectators: 9200 (Terracing: 6900, Seating: 2116, VIP seats: 184) 6 minutes into the match, Limon's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Matos came free, but Nicolas Chamberlain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Guido Conejo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Rohrmoser, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Matos in the 12th minute of play forced Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Donald Salas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain. Nicolas Chamberlain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Rohrmoser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minor Pineda in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Puriscal got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cruz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Viquez during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puriscal's Ruben Viquez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Edgar Rohrmoser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minor Pineda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Chamberlain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ruben Viquez scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Chamberlain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Andrei Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Matos in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Minor Pineda to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Salas. After 59 minutes, Miguel Amador mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puriscal and the Limon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Puriscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Amador to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Amador hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play, Limon's Minor Pineda made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Rohrmoser was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Guido Conejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Rohrmoser. Puriscal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Conejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Michael Portuguez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Rohrmoser. Puriscal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain got control of the ball when Donald Salas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes Puriscal got a freekick which was hit by Benny Lehman. 86 minutes into the game, Federico Matute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puriscal the free kick. The supporters of Puriscal booed when Limon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Matute didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josue Rohrmoser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Rohrmoser having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Miranda got free with Nicolas Chamberlain in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Salas.
