Tito Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Platanillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Cordero came free, but Tito Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Platanillo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eloi House was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcelona FC's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Cordoba in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Hernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Platanillo AFC's goalkeeper Tito Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Salas. 61 minutes into the game, Antonio Orozco lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Tito Hernandez. Antonio Orozco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Tito Hernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The coaching staff of Barcelona FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mario Salas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Barcelona FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mario Salas hit a great ball. Nacho Talamanca charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nacho Talamanca took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tito Hernandez. Tito Hernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Gerardo Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tito Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Calderon charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
