Seating: 2116, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Minor Pineda kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Minor Pineda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Blen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute Salomon Obando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Chamberlain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Loria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Chamberlain having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Limon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Carvajal to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Herberto Contreras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Blen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minor Pineda in the 17th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rio Cuarto FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Anselmo Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicolas Chamberlain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Chamberlain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Obando in the 27th minute of play. Rio Cuarto FC's Leonel Blen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minor Pineda in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Limon got a freekick which was hit by Michael Portuguez. Salomon Obando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Pineda came free, but Leonel Blen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salomon Obando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Limon's Minor Pineda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonel Blen. Leonel Blen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Anselmo Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
51 minutes into the game, Michael Portuguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Cuarto FC the free kick. A collision led to Limon getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Michael Portuguez hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Anselmo Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Pineda came free, but Leonel Blen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Rio Cuarto FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Guerrero. 59 minutes into the game, Minor Pineda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Leonel Blen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes Limon got a freekick which was hit by Minor Pineda. After a rather tough play, Limon's Guido Conejo got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Rio Cuarto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Minor Pineda kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Anselmo Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Limon from getting a goal against them. Leonel Blen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Conejo in the 80th minute of play. Nicolas Chamberlain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Loria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Porras took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Blen. Leonel Blen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Limon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rio Cuarto FC for a fine match.
