Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) Antonio Orozco made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Sanchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvin Lopez. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Alvin Lopez came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona FC's Antonio Orozco. But to his dismay, Antonio Orozco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Antonio Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Lopez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mario Salas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Salas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cobano AFC's zone, Antonio Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Lopez came out of the goal and Antonio Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antonio Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cobano AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bernardo Talamanca hit a great ball. Eric Heredia hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Cobano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Talamanca. Antonio Orozco in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvin Lopez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonio Orozco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvin Lopez. That made the score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. Antonio Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Lopez having to interfere. Eric Heredia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. When Barcelona FC's Antonio Orozco in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Antonio Orozco put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alvin Lopez. When Nacho Talamanca fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona FC's protests and gave Nacho Talamanca a yellow card for diving instead. Alvin Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Talamanca in the 68th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Cobano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bolaños. Eloi House took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvin Lopez. Cobano AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Gerardo Sanchez notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Cobano AFC's Alvin Lopez. Alvin Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Guadamuz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Antonio Orozco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cobano AFC's goalkeeper Alvin Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Nacho Talamanca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Alvin Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Heredia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mario Salas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Barcelona FC's Virgilio Rojas got control of the ball when Adolfo Coto tried to sneak it across the goal line.
