Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfonso Herrera kicked off to start the match. Chunche Leiton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Brenes in the 5th minute of play. Saul Ugalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Graga's Enrique Molina got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the GALÁCTICOS FC defense, Alfonso Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willy Oreamuno. The GALÁCTICOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Oreamuno should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes, Rogelio Garro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALÁCTICOS FC and the Graga players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Graga booed when GALÁCTICOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Garro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Oreamuno having to interfere. Pancho Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Willy Oreamuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Saul Ugalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute of the match Alvaro Alfaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chunche Leiton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Otoniel Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chunche Leiton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Anibal Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chunche Leiton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanley Mendez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanley Mendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Graga's Stanley Mendez got a free kick in the 48th minute. Alvaro Alfaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chunche Leiton. Graga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, GALÁCTICOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Herrera came free, but Willy Oreamuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Brenes in the 56th minute of play forced Graga's goalkeeper Chunche Leiton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Borbon charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Borbon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Molina during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Graga's Enrique Molina got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, GALÁCTICOS FC's Anibal Martinez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chunche Leiton. Chunche Leiton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Elvis Brenes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Chunche Leiton made a huge save. When Otoniel Soto came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the GALÁCTICOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otoniel Soto couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Willy Oreamuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Ugalde in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willy Oreamuno saved GALÁCTICOS FC from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Graga's Stanley Mendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willy Oreamuno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Saul Ugalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Ugalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Graga lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
