Thanks to some nice moves Arsenio Sanchez could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Bernardo Arias however easily saved by the left post. Pepe Sibaja kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Arsenio Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Soto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Amador prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Dalkurd FC were awarded a corner. Heriberto Cambronero went to the cornerflag to take it. Hugo Amador showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nicolas Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Minor Godinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Soto in the 51st minute of play forced Dalkurd FC's goalkeeper Hugo Amador to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Amador showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Soto in the 55th minute of the match. LinuX F.C.'s Manrique Medina was substituted for Frank Soto. After a defensive mix-up in LinuX F.C.'s zone, Arsenio Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Arias came out of the goal and Arsenio Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Sanchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Arias was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Dalkurd FC defense, Manrique Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Amador. The Dalkurd FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Amador should have stopped the shot. Hugo Amador took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmer Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Elmer Lozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Amador saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Picado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dalkurd FC! Dalkurd FC:s Hugo Amador showed great skill when he stopped Elmer Lozano:s penalty. In the 96th minute, Jorge Padilla made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Amador. Dalkurd FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. When the match was over LinuX F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dalkurd FC throughout the match.
