The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Vivanco got free with Herminio Cendegui in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemencin Alberdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fagildo Vialpando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Cendegui having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Vivanco in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Cendegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 72 minutes, Fagildo Vialpando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Castle Dp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagildo Vialpando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Vivanco might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Cendegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Vivanco ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximo Vivanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Herminio Cendegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fagildo Vialpando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Cendegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of New Castle Dp booed when Sangana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Oyuelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin Alberdi in the 96th minute of play. The New Castle Dp supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sangana's performance. The match ended with a win for Sangana.
