If Gaskon Hormaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yoel Igual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfiro Guardia having to interfere. Christovao Buey might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Porfiro Guardia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christovao Buey ran back to his position shaking his head. Belmiro Mendoza charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Mendoza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Belmiro Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christovao Buey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Medero Lazaeta during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Ayacucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Medero Lazaeta. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Muerte a Chistito FBC's goalkeeper Montrelle Bocos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Christovao Buey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muerte a Chistito FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christovao Buey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfiro Guardia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35thth minute of the game Christovao Buey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayacucho FC's Porfiro Guardia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Muerte a Chistito FBC's Gaskon Hormaza in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ayacucho FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Xian Juara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christovao Buey in the 44th minute of play forced Ayacucho FC's goalkeeper Porfiro Guardia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Muerte a Chistito FBC's Beila Alija made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porfiro Guardia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Muerte a Chistito FBC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christovao Buey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christovao Buey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Christovao Buey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfiro Guardia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Yoel Igual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muerte a Chistito FBC's Christovao Buey got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Christovao Buey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ayacucho FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erubiel Valli hit a great ball. Txema Arecha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Porfiro Guardia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porfiro Guardia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christovao Buey in the 73rd minute of play. When Belmiro Mendoza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. In the 75th match minute, Ayacucho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. Christovao Buey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christovao Buey struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Porfiro Guardia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muerte a Chistito FBC. Christovao Buey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
