Brais Ruilopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furtado Soba in the 29th minute of play forced Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Anxo Arenillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furtado Soba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anxo Arenillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Gilen Padron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anxo Arenillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Alianza Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brais Ruilopez to maneuver through the defense. Huancahuasi's Malvin Diguja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Huancahuasi from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Alianza Lima's protests and gave Savier Collado a yellow card for diving instead. Huancahuasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeraldo Ocasio in the 59th minute. Malvin Diguja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malvin Diguja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Collado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jeraldo Ocasio's late challenge caught a Alianza Lima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeraldo Ocasio helped the player get up and apologised. Furtado Soba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anxo Arenillas having to make a save. Gilen Padron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anxo Arenillas having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Anxo Arenillas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Furtado Soba. If Gilen Padron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Huancahuasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeraldo Ocasio in the 99th minute.
