Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viator Bretal in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Escrig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brais Ruilopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Escrig having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Brais Ruilopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Urdin Villafuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Anxo Arenillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urdin Villafuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anxo Arenillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pero Losa in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anxo Arenillas saved Alianza Lima from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Losa came free, but Anxo Arenillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Alianza Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iigo Moro to maneuver through the defense.
