The referee showed Mincho Negrete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huancahuasi booed when C D DIABLOS ROJOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mincho Negrete didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Huancahuasi getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Josue Biembengén hit a great ball. Javiero Ali was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, one of Huancahuasi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huancahuasi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelagius Lecin in the 25th minute of play forced Huancahuasi's goalkeeper Malvin Diguja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikeldi Antequera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Furtado Soba in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes C D DIABLOS ROJOS got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Tellado. Malvin Diguja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelagius Lecin in the 35th minute of the match. If Pelagius Lecin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furtado Soba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mikeldi Antequera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the C D DIABLOS ROJOS defense, Furtado Soba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikeldi Antequera. The C D DIABLOS ROJOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikeldi Antequera should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pelagius Lecin made a kick off. Josue Biembengén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikeldi Antequera having to interfere. Txerran Cervera's late challenge caught a C D DIABLOS ROJOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Txerran Cervera helped the player get up and apologised. Furtado Soba struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Mikeldi Antequera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huancahuasi. Pelagius Lecin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malvin Diguja made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ruben Malet sent off a good shot on target. Huancahuasi's Malvin Diguja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Huancahuasi from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Ruben Malet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C D DIABLOS ROJOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Malet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Malet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malvin Diguja having to interfere. In the 88th minute, C D DIABLOS ROJOS's Pelagius Lecin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Malvin Diguja. Malvin Diguja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Malvin Diguja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Malet in the 94th minute. The Huancahuasi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C D DIABLOS ROJOS's performance. The match ended with a win for C D DIABLOS ROJOS.
