Thanks to some nice moves Fero Zumiel could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Erdiano Lance however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Erdiano Lance successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jahuasicucho's Juan Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Zamarro in the 34th minute of play. Erdiano Lance made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Errolan Muela sent off a good shot on target. Fero Zumiel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Erdiano Lance when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erdiano Lance took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tavio Oyanguren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, EMG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fero Zumiel came free, but Erdiano Lance reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Jahuasicucho got a freekick which was hit by Stefano Ormaechea. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fero Zumiel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavio Oyanguren in the 52nd minute of play forced EMG FC's goalkeeper Erdiano Lance to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fagildo Llanderas charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fagildo Llanderas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EMG FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play.
