After a rather tough play, Chilluparje's Florencio Abadie got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Llorenc Beranga's late challenge caught a Mirmidones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llorenc Beranga helped the player get up and apologised. Mirmidones's Sengrat Besga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chilluparje. In the 7th minute, Ximenes Añe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 11 minutes, Mikeldi Castañiza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chilluparje and the Mirmidones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Mikeldi Castañiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Mikeldi Castañiza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaizki Elicegui. Mirmidones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikeldi Castañiza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Mikeldi Castañiza came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Chilluparje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikeldi Castañiza couldn't finish the play. Jaizki Elicegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 31 in the game by Hermengildo Amileta from a close distance when the talented Gurutz Farto managed to make a qualified save. Chilluparje's players were relieved. Gurutz Farto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ximenes Añe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. After 43 played minutes Mirmidones got a freekick which was hit by Mergildo Gener. In the 44th minute of the match Oliviero Argaez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaizki Elicegui skillfully saved the ball. The Mirmidones players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chilluparje were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximenes Añe made a kick off. If Ximenes Añe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gurutz Farto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Amileta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Amileta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gurutz Farto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Mikeldi Castañiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaizki Elicegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mikeldi Castañiza came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Chilluparje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikeldi Castañiza couldn't finish the play. With his leg Jaizki Elicegui managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Chilluparje's Joaquin Maquiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Llorenc Beranga got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Mirmidones booed when Chilluparje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llorenc Beranga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ximenes Añe came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mirmidones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximenes Añe couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Maquiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Hermengildo Amileta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chilluparje's Gurutz Farto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Amileta in the 90th minute of play. Hermengildo Amileta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gurutz Farto having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
