In the 13th match minute, mundo de evas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauren Pidrola to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Tortoles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mercurio Cereceda. mundo de evas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rufio Mezquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercurio Cereceda having to interfere. Florin Pidrola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Generosb Labastida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rufio Mezquita in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mercurio Cereceda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mercurio Cereceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufio Mezquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generosb Labastida got free with Mercurio Cereceda in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rufio Mezquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generosb Labastida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mercurio Cereceda having to make a save. Rufio Mezquita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mercurio Cereceda came out and tried to block the shot, but Rufio Mezquita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rufio Mezquita made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Lanche's Israel Silio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mercurio Cereceda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lanche reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Generosb Labastida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanche's supporters rose to their feet, but Generosb Labastida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mercurio Cereceda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the mundo de evas defense, Generosb Labastida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mercurio Cereceda. The mundo de evas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mercurio Cereceda should have stopped the shot. Mercurio Cereceda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generosb Labastida in the 68th minute of the match. Rufio Mezquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mercurio Cereceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Generosb Labastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufio Mezquita in the 97th minute of play forced mundo de evas's goalkeeper Mercurio Cereceda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufio Mezquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Mercurio Cereceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lanche fully deserved thier win.
