The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lando Valbuena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higosnioc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lando Valbuena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lando Malvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, David Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee showed Deb Orallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yomblom FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Deb Orallo hit a great ball. When Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Yomblom FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuste Peñuñuri in the 52nd minute of play forced Yomblom FC's goalkeeper Lando Malvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Tuste Peñuñuri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yomblom FC's Lando Malvido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deb Orallo lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lando Malvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuste Peñuñuri in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Tuste Peñuñuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lando Malvido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lando Malvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuste Peñuñuri in the 78th minute of play. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Tuste Peñuñuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yomblom FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
