The supporters of Alianza lima booed when Canahuaito Mollendo LCV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caton Pellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burutzagi Cia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Cerradelo in the 18th minute of play. Roegelio Magarinos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouricio Ibarlucea in the 23rd minute of play forced Canahuaito Mollendo LCV's goalkeeper Leonardo Anduiza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burutzagi Cia made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Luisito Vivera sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Siro Salazano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Burutzagi Cia. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Omar Sedan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canahuaito Mollendo LCV's Leonardo Anduiza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Roegelio Magarinos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Alianza lima's Burutzagi Cia. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mouricio Ibarlucea was the one to do the kick off. Burutzagi Cia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donio Nao in the 65th minute of play. Burutzagi Cia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes Cerradelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Siro Salazano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canahuaito Mollendo LCV's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Salazano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burutzagi Cia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Vivera in the 74th minute of play forced Alianza lima's goalkeeper Burutzagi Cia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Canahuaito Mollendo LCV's Leonardo Anduiza got control of the ball when Omar Sedan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Iztal Soliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ortzi Pedraja kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roegelio Magarinos in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burutzagi Cia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Burutzagi Cia came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Canahuaito Mollendo LCV's Donio Nao. But to his dismay, Donio Nao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Burutzagi Cia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reyes Cerradelo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Georgiy Atamoglanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canahuaito Mollendo LCV and the Alianza lima players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alianza lima's Mouricio Ibarlucea got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alianza lima's Mouricio Ibarlucea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Anduiza. Leonardo Anduiza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canahuaito Mollendo LCV fully deserved thier win.
