In the 14th minute of the game Eleazar Cerejido made a throw-in which Juango Madera played forward. Rioja Barajas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rioja Barajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pänah Eldarov in the 21st minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Weterio Lorza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weterio Lorza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chap Chapado in the 25th minute. Zeruko Caracedo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeruko Caracedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Zeruko Caracedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukasz Oryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Fonoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Maximiliano Fonoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Ontaneda in the 36th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Weterio Lorza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Pilarume FBC's Chap Chapado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weterio Lorza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weterio Lorza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eleazar Cerejido. After 47 played minutes Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan got a freekick which was hit by Bitxintxo Rucabado. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 49th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilarume FBC:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

59 minutes into the match, Leon Ontaneda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weterio Lorza. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Ontaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Chap Chapado came free, but Weterio Lorza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weterio Lorza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juango Madera in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Pänah Eldarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weterio Lorza. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pänah Eldarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Maximiliano Fonoll got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leon Ontaneda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weterio Lorza was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Eleazar Cerejido made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Juango Madera however managed to control. In the 82nd minute Chap Chapado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weterio Lorza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Weterio Lorza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juango Madera in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Chap Chapado came free, but Weterio Lorza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Leon Ontaneda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Weterio Lorza. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Weterio Lorza should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's attentive Rioja Barajas managed to snatch the ball when Erdiano Armea made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Weterio Lorza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Ontaneda in the 98th minute of play. Weterio Lorza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chap Chapado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pilarume FBC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
