Ovando Gorbalan's late challenge caught a Garra Crema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovando Gorbalan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, FC Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovando Gorbalan to maneuver through the defense. Cruz Calenga in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cordarrol Lagala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute, Frederik Wagemakers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nardo Logroño was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cruz Calenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nardo Logroño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Tabardillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Modesto Araujo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nardo Logroño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garra Crema. Nardo Logroño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreo Farfán in the 30th minute of the match. Estevez Larrinoa made a great header on Garra Crema's corner, it was just that FC Lima's Nardo Logroño managed to reach the ball for a save. Edmundo Anguiano charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Anguiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the FC Lima defense, Frederik Wagemakers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nardo Logroño. The FC Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nardo Logroño should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederik Wagemakers to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederik Wagemakers got free with Nardo Logroño in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Cruz Calenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cordarrol Lagala was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lima's zone, Estevez Larrinoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nardo Logroño came out of the goal and Estevez Larrinoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Cruz Calenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarrol Lagala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreo Farfán in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nardo Logroño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Andreo Farfán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Andreo Farfán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nardo Logroño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nardo Logroño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreo Farfán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nardo Logroño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreo Farfán in the 77th minute of play. FC Lima's Nardo Logroño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreo Farfán in the 78th minute of play. Andreo Farfán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Garra Crema's Frederik Wagemakers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nardo Logroño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nardo Logroño came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Garra Crema's Frederik Wagemakers. But to his dismay, Frederik Wagemakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, FC Lima's Nardo Logroño got control of the ball when Frederik Wagemakers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Lima defense, Gabriel Tabardillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nardo Logroño. The FC Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nardo Logroño should have stopped the shot. Garra Crema's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
