Jon Iruegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blai Hernani in the 14th minute of the match. Jon Iruegas stood somewhat misplaced when Blai Hernani came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. The throw-in from Beat Bujanda in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC SU-57's Niguel Madariaga. SC SU-57's Jon Iruegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save SC SU-57 from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernanco Peso in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to SC SU-57 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marcelino Elicegui hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Blai Hernani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jon Iruegas. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Fernanco Peso sped through Atletico Grau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baldomiro Abascal. Fernanco Peso scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Abascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernanco Peso to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Galtero Mauleon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC SU-57's Jon Iruegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Etxahun Randoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Peso in the 56th minute of play forced Atletico Grau's goalkeeper Baldomiro Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Grau's goalkeeper Baldomiro Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beat Bujanda made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC SU-57's Niguel Madariaga. In the 70th minute, Fernanco Peso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Grau's goalkeeper Baldomiro Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Fernanco Peso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Beat Bujanda with Orain Trinidad as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 85 minutes into the game, Severino Otero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Grau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC SU-57 the free kick. The supporters of SC SU-57 booed when Atletico Grau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Abascal was a little too slow when Fernanco Peso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Atletico Grau lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
