Olympique Lima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Mascaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Gitano Garmendia fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Lima's protests and gave Gitano Garmendia a yellow card for diving instead.
