The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Real Trujillo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Estenaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Fuerza Celeste's Anastasio Estenaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faron Silvestre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Casimiro Moriz came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Trujillo F.C's Mariano Osaviaga. But to his dismay, Mariano Osaviaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Aranzazu in the 24th minute of play forced Real Trujillo F.C's goalkeeper Faron Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Piorno Montejo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Real Trujillo F.C's Faron Silvestre. Faron Silvestre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Fuerza Celeste booed when Real Trujillo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argoitz Vizcaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argoitz Vizcaino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Moriz having to interfere. Faron Silvestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Estenaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bernaldo Pares charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernaldo Pares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Aranzazu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faron Silvestre having to interfere. The Real Trujillo F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fuerza Celeste were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernaldo Pares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Argoitz Vizcaino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Vilanova scored 2-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Moriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Estenaga got free with Faron Silvestre in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Anastasio Estenaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Aranzazu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Faron Silvestre made a huge save. In the 71st minute Bernaldo Pares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Moriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Real Trujillo F.C's goalkeeper Faron Silvestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Estenaga. Casimiro Moriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernaldo Pares, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Piorno Montejo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faron Silvestre having to make a save. Real Trujillo F.C's Gil Vilanova got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Fuerza Celeste got a freekick which was hit by Ixidor Escuza. After a rather tough play, Fuerza Celeste's Lico Blazquez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Casimiro Moriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernaldo Pares in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fuerza Celeste walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
