Carlos Caseda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Pidrola in the 17th minute of play. Carlos Caseda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errolan Galindo in the 18th minute of the match. Nahia Igual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ekain Villaelrriego having to make a save. When Santutxo Nafarrate fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayapata FC's protests and gave Santutxo Nafarrate a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Huarcoy FC booed when Ayapata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santutxo Nafarrate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ayapata FC's zone, Errolan Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Caseda came out of the goal and Errolan Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harri Abendaño kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Errolan Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Errolan Galindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huarcoy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The wind increased when Nahia Igual made the kick off in the second half. Chuan Davalos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Ayapata FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huarcoy FC:s goal. Harri Abendaño shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Errolan Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Caseda having to interfere. In the 64th minute Errolan Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Caseda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Huarcoy FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Harri Abendaño hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Ayapata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltza Abel to maneuver through the defense. Brion Pidrola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Caseda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beltza Abel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Carlos Caseda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brion Pidrola in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ayapata FC's goalkeeper Carlos Caseda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brion Pidrola. When the final whistle sounded Huarcoy FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ayapata FC.
