In the 27th match minute, Barcelona FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasoin Alzaga to maneuver through the defense. Roque Bonachea made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Prokopis Chatzidimos sent off a good shot on target. RED STAR FC. were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Barcelona FBC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Buendia took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Enrico Almodovar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Prokopis Chatzidimos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roque Bonachea came out and tried to block the shot, but Prokopis Chatzidimos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. Brais Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lizar Eugenio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Romulo Vizcarreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roque Bonachea. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Almodovar in the 61st minute of play forced Barcelona FBC's goalkeeper Roque Bonachea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcelona FBC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro Buendia was slow to take the kick. During this time RED STAR FC.'s players had a chance to rest. Roque Bonachea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Almodovar in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Abel Videgaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Bonachea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prokopis Chatzidimos in the 78th minute of play. Roque Bonachea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Almodovar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Lizar Eugenio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brais Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes RED STAR FC. got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Forsberg.
