When David Mărăscu fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSS.20's protests and gave David Mărăscu a yellow card for diving instead. 34 minutes into the game, one of CSS.20:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chan Riba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shantala Manzarias having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Munia FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Chan Riba came free, but Shantala Manzarias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Vedeja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Cachero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Shantala Manzarias made a huge save. Virila Borizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. During the 85th minute of the match Froila Gort completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Froila Gort a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 86 played minutes Munia FBC got a freekick which was hit by Froila Gort. Chan Riba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Angelo Cachero managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSS.20's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Cachero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shantala Manzarias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Munia FBC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
