Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) Mario Pintado made the kick off and thus started the match. Amailayo's Sugar Piedeconcha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Pintado in the 6th minute of play. Sugar Piedeconcha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Pintado in the 17th minute of the match. Cruz Ochandiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sugar Piedeconcha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Cruz Ochandiano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amailayo's Sugar Piedeconcha. Sugar Piedeconcha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Ochandiano in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sugar Piedeconcha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Universitario FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Amailayo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xulio Tamajon took the corner. Ambrosio Marentos made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mede Barrantes sent off a good shot on target. Xulio Tamajon made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amailayo's Santiago Villafane. Sugar Piedeconcha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Pintado in the 34th minute of the match. Universitario FC's Cruz Ochandiano got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Universitario FC got a freekick which was hit by Xulio Tamajon. When Teodor Rosich came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Amailayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Rosich couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xaiver Astozas to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xaiver Astozas in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Marentos saved Universitario FC from getting behind. When Amailayo's Xaiver Astozas in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Universitario FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sugar Piedeconcha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Pintado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sugar Piedeconcha came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Universitario FC's Cruz Ochandiano. But to his dismay, Cruz Ochandiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 74th minute Mario Pintado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sugar Piedeconcha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xulio Tamajon made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raulo Urueña however managed to control. Artaldo Ontoria hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Amailayo's Santiago Villafane tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Xaiver Astozas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Marentos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Amailayo's goalkeeper Sugar Piedeconcha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cruz Ochandiano. After 95 minutes of play, Universitario FC's Costante Albaratay made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sugar Piedeconcha was left in no man's land by his defense there!
