After 3 played minutes Tongo got a freekick which was hit by Xusto Lin. After a defensive mix-up in Tongo's zone, David Mărăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Hordoñez came out of the goal and David Mărăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Angelo Cachero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richie Hordoñez was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. If Alonso Zumiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Cheche Gauna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tongo and the CSS.20 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cheche Gauna kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Handi Valda hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Angelo Cachero in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richie Hordoñez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelo Cachero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alonso Zumiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Tongo's Sergi Cabria got a free kick in the 29th minute. When CSS.20's Angelo Cachero in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tongo's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Richie Hordoñez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jairo Paramo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Haritzeder Ozaeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tongo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSS.20 the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Cachero to make the kick off. Richie Hordoñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Cachero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alonso Zumiza came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the CSS.20 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Zumiza couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tongo's zone, Chan Riba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Hordoñez came out of the goal and Chan Riba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tongo's Inocente Vedeja got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Inocente Vedeja could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Virila Borizar however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Tongo booed when CSS.20 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjark Deters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocente Vedeja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virila Borizar having to interfere. CSS.20's Virila Borizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save CSS.20 from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Inocente Vedeja made a precise shot to the right of Virila Borizar. CSS.20's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cheche Gauna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Chan Riba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Richie Hordoñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virila Borizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocente Vedeja in the 86th minute. Pietro Villapadierna struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Richie Hordoñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSS.20. Alonso Zumiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richie Hordoñez having to interfere. Cheche Gauna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Virila Borizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Tongo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSS.20:s goal. Alonso Zumiza placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Angelo Cachero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Richie Hordoñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CSS.20 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
