Sancho Ruedas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Begal having to interfere. Diego Begal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Zumiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieter Beckfeld during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Begal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mino Zumiel went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
