The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donato Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazario Hervias in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Alianza AQP's goalkeeper Ximun Hurdinosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pancho Saron. Club Defensor Los Robles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogerio Orio in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Rogerio Orio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alianza AQP's Ximun Hurdinosa did a great save. After 9 minutes, Tino Robledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza AQP and the Club Defensor Los Robles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tino Robledo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Alianza AQP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errando Villaboa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Arrano in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximun Hurdinosa saved Alianza AQP from getting behind. Nazario Hervias kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pancho Saron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazario Hervias in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Orlando Orlando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza AQP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 25 played minutes Alianza AQP got a freekick which was hit by Vimaro Zabalo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Pedrero in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Defensor Los Robles's goalkeeper Donato Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes Alianza AQP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogerio Orio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rogerio Orio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alianza AQP's Ximun Hurdinosa did a great save. Donato Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazario Hervias, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Club Defensor Los Robles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alianza AQP were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pancho Saron made a kick off. Club Defensor Los Robles's Donato Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Club Defensor Los Robles from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Alianza AQP getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marcos Pedrero hit a great ball. Pancho Saron struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ximun Hurdinosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Defensor Los Robles. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Orlando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Valle. That made the score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Alianza AQP's goal looked a bit too open when Pancho Saron came free, but Ximun Hurdinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pancho Saron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Defensor Los Robles's Garoa Escamilla was substituted for Lúcio Jacinto. Club Defensor Los Robles's Tartalo Perojo was substituted for Deyan Brashnarov. Club Defensor Los Robles's Donato Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Club Defensor Los Robles from getting a goal against them. Ximun Hurdinosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pancho Saron in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximun Hurdinosa saved Alianza AQP from getting behind. Alianza AQP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
