When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Nalo Cuba took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Betadur Aramberri to make any attempt to save it. Betadur Aramberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Olvera in the 8th minute. Ysmael Nevares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancho Ruedas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betadur Aramberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nalo Cuba in the 17th minute. Calicantro's Betadur Aramberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Olvera in the 18th minute of play. Nalo Cuba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Betadur Aramberri made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nalo Cuba got free with Betadur Aramberri in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, MARISCAL SUCRE FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Mino Zumiel came free, but Ysmael Nevares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Calicantro's Betadur Aramberri got control of the ball when Nalo Cuba tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Dieter Beckfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calicantro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARISCAL SUCRE FBC the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Sancho Ruedas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calicantro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sancho Ruedas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Isidoro Olvera made a precise shot to the right of Betadur Aramberri. Calicantro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 58th minute, Sancho Ruedas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calicantro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lluciano Carretero kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Calicantro's Sancho Ruedas tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Nalo Cuba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betadur Aramberri. Calicantro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nalo Cuba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When MARISCAL SUCRE FBC's Isidoro Olvera in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calicantro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute of the match Guillerme Olarria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betadur Aramberri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dieter Beckfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ysmael Nevares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Zumiel in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Olvera in the 79th minute of play forced Calicantro's goalkeeper Betadur Aramberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysmael Nevares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Zumiel in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Isidoro Olvera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betadur Aramberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
