Ysmael Nevares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Vigil's zone, Lluciano Carretero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarracino Arranz came out of the goal and Lluciano Carretero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheo Hernández succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Ysmael Nevares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Baños's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When Club Atletico Vigil's Roque Tejeyra in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nalo Cuba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MARISCAL SUCRE FBC's Ysmael Nevares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarin Ilarraza in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Orti Cabello made a precise shot to the right of Sarracino Arranz. Club Atletico Vigil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 59th minute of the match, Cordarin Ilarraza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ysmael Nevares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Vigil's Roque Tejeyra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ysmael Nevares. That made the score 1-6 after 70 minutes of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Roque Tejeyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Vigil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Tejeyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cordarin Ilarraza might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Nevares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordarin Ilarraza ran back to his position shaking his head. MARISCAL SUCRE FBC's Ysmael Nevares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarin Ilarraza in the 81st minute of play. Ysmael Nevares came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Vigil's Matheo Hernández. But to his dismay, Matheo Hernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Sarracino Arranz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Olvera in the 88th minute of play. Cordarin Ilarraza in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ysmael Nevares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordarin Ilarraza got free with Ysmael Nevares in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Isidoro Olvera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Arranz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Vigil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
