No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Senio Zalaca to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Grupo Original Deportivo's goalkeeper Leocadio Villavedon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inacio Poblaciàn. Diego Begal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Senio Zalaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Begal was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Diego Begal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lluc Regato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jayanca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
