Oriche Ebro hit a great ball. Wieslaw Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzaver Sauca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alianza Lima's Wieslaw Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriche Ebro in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Acad.Juvenil Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Jordi Rubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabino Almuzara. Angel Balbin's late challenge caught a Alianza Lima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Balbin helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Acad.Juvenil Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Angel Balbin. Alianza Lima's Gabino Almuzara got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Xzaver Sauca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wieslaw Purzycki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jerold Requena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Belo Izarra fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alianza Lima's protests and gave Belo Izarra a yellow card for diving instead. Belo Izarra hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Tiso Hortega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acad.Juvenil Alianza Lima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza Lima the free kick. After a rather tough play, Acad.Juvenil Alianza Lima's Tiso Hortega got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabino Almuzara in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordi Rubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alianza Lima walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
