The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jānis Pavelskops showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estebe Constante in the 19th minute of the match. UTC FC's Jānis Pavelskops played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Notes in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Inigo Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Yun Qian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes UTC FC got a freekick which was hit by Piearres Cena. Estebe Constante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jānis Pavelskops having to make a save. Jānis Pavelskops took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebe Constante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jānis Pavelskops prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inigo Alfaro made a kick off. Estebe Constante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, UTC FC's Jānis Pavelskops got control of the ball when Estebe Constante tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Velasco Cantu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UTC FC's protests and gave Velasco Cantu a yellow card for diving instead. Velasco Cantu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. UTC FC's Jānis Pavelskops played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estebe Constante in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, UTC FC's goalkeeper Jānis Pavelskops had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estebe Constante. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by UTC FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jānis Pavelskops breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Mas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jānis Pavelskops tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deportivo Alianza Lima. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Alianza Lima. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
